How long have you been in the telecoms industry?

All Points North entered the telecoms industry in 1990, originally launching as a gay chat provider. We have grown our portfolio of services ever since, adapting to the market place and retaining leadership.

What information do you need from me to set up an account?

Initially we will need your name or Company name, your registered address or company address, your VAT number if you are VAT registered and also bank details for the account you would like revenues to be paid to, also if you wish to run premium rate services you would need to be registered with the regulator PhonePayPlus (http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/For-Business/Register-with-us.aspx) and we would need the registration number prior to any services being set up.

I am new to the industry, will you be able to help me set up everything and make sure I am compliant?

Yes we can give you all the advice you need. From the required terms and conditions on promotional material to registering with necessary regulators.

When will I receive my first payment?

You will receive a statement within 14 days of month end and all payments will be sent 35 days after month end.

I have my own number with a Telco; can i still advertise your services?

Yes, we would just need to give you the necessary numbers in order to do this and instead of us paying you. You will receive your revenue direct from your Telco and pay in relation to any minutes/messages that you have run through us.

I want a memorable number; will I be able to choose one?

We have a large selection of “golden numbers” if you would like one then let us know. We will send you a selection and you can choose one.

If I get a local number from you, will my old number still work?

Yes, your old number will still work exactly the same as it used to.

Can I divert a local number to my mobile?

Yes, you can, there may be a cost for doing this but it is a standard set up and can be done within 5 working days.

I have my own short code and currently use another company to fulfill my chat service; can I use this short code but use you instead?

Yes you can, we would just need to get some information from you and then we can integrate your short code into our text service.

How do I know that your psychics are genuine?

We have years’ of experience in testing new psychics who want to join our team so we can assure you that only genuine and experienced psychics work with us. Applicants are interviewed and are required to carry out two high standard test readings with our management team. If they are accepted in to the team then we proceed with full code of practice and regulatory training to comply with our governing regulators. We always work closely with our psychics to make sure they are performing to the best of their ability in the quality and structure of their readings and call durations.

I currently work with another psychic service provider but the call durations aren’t very consistent. Is that normal?

We have worked with the majority of our psychics for around 10 years so we have a trusted team who have excellent call durations because the quality of their readings provide good customer satisfaction. It is much better for a customer to have a decent quality reading of 20 minutes, than 2 or 3 short readings because they feel they have received value for money. Customers are much more likely to call back when they have received a decent length reading with an experienced and confident psychic.

I am interested in starting up my own psychic website. How do I go about it?

A psychic website needs commitment and time given to it. There are associated costs of marketing that you may need to consider, alongside the importance of working with search engines to have a decent web presence. Social networking is also a great way to get your brand out there. We can provide the telephone numbers, set up the services and the website reader panel, and of course the psychics to answer your services.

Will you send promotional messages to my users/database?

Unless instructed by you, we will never send any promotional messages to your user/database. All users databases remain separate at all times.

I am new to the industry, will you be able to help me set up everything and make sure I am compliant?

Yes we can give you all the advice you need. From the required terms and conditions on promotional material to registering with necessary regulators.

I would like to use your call centre solution, but would like all calls to be routed through to different people, can you do this?

Yes we can answer your calls in your company name and route calls through to necessary people as specified by you.
